Volunteers for

ervicemen & Veterans

RibbonOrlando, Florida - Many of the comforts and conveniences we take for granted are not available to our troops overseas.  Although American servicemen are the finest equipped military organization, there are simple personal items that would help ease the daily tensions in a war zone.
The Volunteers for Servicemen and Veterans [VSV] was created to provide citizens a way to help satisfy these needs.  The most popular request is for a Sno-Cone machine.  The troops want them for relief from the Iraqi desert heat.  Microwave ovens, the latest DVD movie releases, Handi-Wipes and other personal hygiene supplies are also needed.

The troops have volunteered to place their lives on the line, every day, VSV provides opportunities for the rest of us to volunteer in gratitude for their brave devotion.  We each have the chance to show our support by providing a little comfort in an uncomfortable environment or challenging circumstance.

Volunteers can provide material items, work at collection points or pack the items for shipping to the troops.  Corporate sponsors can donate products or resources.  Family of servicemen/women stationed overseas can contact them to find out what they need or want. All responses can be forwarded to VSV for fulfillment; at no charge.

Contact us to learn more about the many diverse ways you can become involved and show your support.
